So I know Victoria was a bad guy - but I thought she was a freaking great bad guy. Even better than James. Where James was like an animal who wanted only to track and kill, Victoria was cold, calculating. I also felt she was fairly tragic because she had had so much faith and trust in James, then he died. So, she wanted Edward to feel her pain.
What did you think of Victoria?
I found Victoria fascinating, because she was so unapologetically evil. I would love to have some of the backstory on Victoria.
ReplyDeleteI think Victoria should be enshrined in the pantheon of really great villians. She's vicious and single minded, but her absolute ruthlessness (killing all those people just to create an army to create a diversion) puts her right up (or down) there. But to me what makes Victoria super creepy is the voice. I know that's in book three but to me that's what turns Victoria into a truly nightmare monster.
ReplyDeleteYes, the voice won't come into play in the movies, which is a shame. But that was a striking element.
ReplyDeleteShe is truly one of the most intellegent villans i've ever read about. I hated her, just becuase your supposed to, But it was almost like it was intimidation. And might i just add, its quite ironic how in her teens she played the Herione in the t.v show, Big Wolf on campus, (wich, obviously had werewolves in it). She is a true genius.
