Loved it. Absolutely the best in the series so far, it stayed true enough to the book to follow the story, but improved on a lot of the weaknesses (in my opinion).
I won't post a detailed review until more time has passed, but if you have seen it and want to discuss particulars, let's do it in the comments.

It's too late and I'm too tired to get specific, but I agree completely. I told Alex afterwords that it looks like they read the book this time :) This is the first Twilight movie that I can honestly say I enjoyed watching, because I wasn't busy grumbling to myself about them adding in all sorts of nonsense and then not having time for the actually story. I was surprised not to see a single sparkle the whole time, though.

ReplyDeleteI agree, they managed to get more of the book in this time. I actually liked New Moon (movie) better than the book, but Eclipse is my favorite book in the series, and I had very high hopes. I was not disappointed.
I thought I caught a little glow at the start, maybe they've just toned down the sparkle effect. Thank goodness they dropped the sparkle sound!
